For the longest time, the central database in which all of the relevant data in regards to anything I've hosted has been MariaDB, which in itself is not a major issue, however, the problem at hand is that this instance of MariaDB was hosted on a Windows server, which I believe is the cause of the slow speed of certain services that heavily rely upon this database.
As such, the data will be moved from this database, to another server that runs Linux, which is also the server which powers 99% of everything that I've hosted.
During this transition, you can expect any and all services that rely upon the database to either experience full downtime, or service degradation. Services not reliant to the Database (i.e. the CDN) will not be affected.
Furthermore, I noticed that my Nginx configuration allows for wildcards as subdomains, which is something I do not want, and something that clogs a majority of things. It's not an issue that it does this, but rather that it redirects all wildcard traffic to api.astrohweston.xyz, which can be seen as a potential security risk. As such, I will take the appropriate time during this maintenance to mitigate this issue too.
As always, I appreciate the support from everyone. Here's to a smooth transition!
